For patients not fitting into the above categories or patients electing to be private patients, and for travel consultations, the above fees apply.
Please discuss your doctor's billing policy with them when you see them.
Workers Compensation is billed at the AMA rate and once a claim has been established we are happy to send accounts to the Insurance Company.
Insurance consultations (eg Life / Income) are billed at the AMA rate & payment is required at time of consultation.
Overseas tourists are not entitled to Australian Medicare rebates - please discuss with staff.
Procedures: A fee maybe charged for some procedures. Your Doctor will discuss with you.
All initial Travel Consultations are privately feed.
Patients with concession cards may elect to be seen as private patients. This will make it easier to get an appointment with your regular doctor. Some of our doctors are only taking on new patients who elect to be seen privately. Our staff will discuss this with you.
All payments due are required at the time of consultation.
Emergency appointments are triaged by the nursing staff on arrival. We do try and fit our patients in with the doctor of their choice, however if that doctor is unavailable, you will be seen by another available doctor.
Mainly, we use Douglass Hanly Moir as pathology providers but patients are entitled to use the pathology service of their own choice. There are 4 Douglas Hanly Moir offices in the area, they are located at:
1) 1- 3 Government Road, Shoal Bay
(open between 8.00am-4.00pm Monday – Friday)
2) Shop 1, 127 Gan Gan Road Anna Bay
(open between 8:00am–1:00pm Monday – Friday)
3) Shop 8, 3- 5 Town Centre Circuit Salamander Bay
